The mindset shift that happens at Acton Academy with the children is two-fold:
1. Shifting from a fixed mindset (I’m just not good at math) to a growth mindset
I learned so much from being an Acton parent and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. There is absolutely no question that my life would not be what it is today had I not cultivated an Acton mindset.
We’ve witnessed in our Acton studios that reflection time is the magic key to deepen learning. It’s been one of my favorite things to remember to do at home, as well.
